There is a comfort found in clothing
A confidence to be sought
A strength, a feeling of belonging
In dressing how one 'ought'.
A court gown, a tunic dress
A longbow in my hand
I study my many tiaras
I am a cosplay princess of my land
A button-down and a long skirt
Tights and sensible heeled shoes
My hair swept into an updo
I enter like I have nothing to lose.
Lounge slacks or track pants
My bra is nowhere to be seen
An oversized shirt with a slogan
On lazy days, comfort is queen.
"Dress for the Job that you want"
"Wear what makes you relaxed"
"Just make an effort, we were all new once"
Choosing clothes is one of life's biggest hacks
This one is a bit out of my normal, and probably out of the bounds of the challenge, but I've just started a new job, and was talking to my Beloved about how dressing the part gives me a confidence boost in interviews and the first few days
