The Chase

Mental Health Poetry 7

By FRANK? PiccolellaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

It's as though I've been searching for someone or something.

Its been quite awhile since I've smiled.

I sleepwalk to the next disaster. Wake me up after four incidents. The speed picks up immensely.

The bile piled up over time, yet within a blink of an eye, time ticks by as I slide to hide within my mind. What a travesty.

Everything I keep secret, kills my pride. Play close to the vest or spill everything. The truth I can't hide.

Don't just take it as it comes. Chase it where it runs? Never stop chasin.

In case it decides to lie in the fate of the dark and lost ones.
