What makes an index month the best or worst?
For whom? What about those who just sell short?
The business men and women see the burst
Of bubbles and nosedive stocks of the sort.
Who stands to profit and rake in the cash
When markets are volatile and unsure?
Who stands on notes and who on heaps of ash
When there is no real economic cure?
The soul of the market starts in the mind.
Unfettered, and free it may be able
To fly. The worst of times may someday find
Themselves hunched in fear under the table.
The system of money will always be
In the producer’s head. That’s the cash tree.
