Nor rhyme nor reasons

According to seasons

Riding the D train to the Concourse

Walking around nostalgia and a bygone era

Buildings of Art Deco and old

Iconic facades made of gold

Ballroom dancing at the savoy manor

Fordham University at Rose Hill Manor

Botanical gardens and the zoo

Landmark places where we go too

Yankee Stadium the house Babe Ruth built

Van Cortlandt Mansion and Poe Cottage are famous homes

Each unearthed by poetic poems

Orchard Beach and City Island are favorite spots

Some of the lesser area zones are red hot

Bronx Hall of Fame at Bronx Community College

Where all Bronxnites go for full knowledge

Shopping around 149th street hub

Looking from far and up above

Arthur Avenue is another neighborhood

Over a hundred years old

With very good food with taste so bold

As I was always told.
