The Boy with Superpowers

Surreal Superpowers

By Mello.viibesPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
With great power comes great responsibility - Uncle Ben

There once was a boy with superpowers

He could fly, run faster than hours

He could see through walls and objects in space

He could lift cars with ease, without a trace

But with great power came great confusion

For he didn't know how to use his fusion

Of abilities, granted by the gods above

He felt lost, like a bird without a glove

So he wandered the earth, searching for a sign

Something to show him, he was more than just a guy with powers divine

But as he roamed, he saw things he couldn't believe

Creatures and people, all in disbelief

They saw him as a hero, a saviour of sorts

He didn't feel worthy, he just wanted to retort

That he was just a boy, trying to find his way

But they cheered and cheered, on that fateful day

He decided to embrace his role, and use his powers for good

He flew off into the sunset, feeling like he finally understood

The surreal world he lived in, and the purpose he was meant to be

He was a boy with superpowers, and that was just fine with me
