The Beauty of Ruby

Descriptive Poem About a Stunning Fox

By Anyelin Mejia-RosarioPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
Ruby and the Forest

In the woods where the trees grow tall,

There's a fox she has known to all,

Her fur shines bright, like a ruby red,

And her call echoes through the woodland bed.

Her name is Ruby, swift and sly,

With piercing eyes that catch the eye,

She dashes through the underbrush,

And leaves no trace, no sign or hush.

On Night, when the moon is high,

Ruby's call pierces the starry sky,

A haunting sound that chills the soul,

Yet, somehow, it makes us whole.

For in Ruby's call, we hear the wild,

The untamed spirit of nature's child,

Her voice, so primal, echoes through,

And reminds us of all we once knew.

So when you hear that eerie sound,

Remember Ruby, fox renowned,

For she is the keeper of the wild,

And in her call, we are beguiled.
