The Beauty of Not Fitting In

This poem belongs to Chapter 1, Soul Awakening. A soft but powerful reflection on the quiet courage of being your true self.

By Liora Vogel Published 7 months ago 1 min read

The fear of failing —

is really just the fear

that your true self

won’t be enough.

But here’s the truth:

Your soul is always enough.

You are perfect

just as you are.

What fears failure

is not your essence,

but the mask

that believes it must be perfect.

Listen closely:

You cannot fail

when you are simply being you.

Failure is not trying.

Failure is silencing your soul

because the world

doesn’t know how to receive it.

Love yourself, accept yourself,

just as you are.

That is what truly matters.

Let your essence breathe,

even if it trembles.

Dare to take the step,

even when you don’t know the way.

The art of living

is not about avoiding mistakes —

it is about honoring your truth.

You did not come here to fit in.

You came here to grow and expand.

Sometimes your soul

will make others uncomfortable.

And that is okay.

Because being authentic

is not about pleasing everyone.

It is about transcending —

going deeper, moving forward,

and becoming more fully yourself.
