I think there will always be a little part of me that longs for that time we spent together in the beginning. For that summer. For that feeling of pure aliveness. For the spark and the passion.
Right now I'd do anything just to relive one of those days with you. You will always have a little piece of my heart because of that. And I'm okay with that.
This love doesn't have to be pain. It can be gratitude, memories, nostalgia.
I'm thankful for those days with you.
