Tending

the Soil

By Colleen WaltersPublished 5 months ago Updated 5 months ago 1 min read

You are stronger than the beckon call

of the dark places that you have

traded for Light.

You have been microneedled with lies

and deception beyond the pale

until you believed them

You don't know your own innocence

because you don't believe in yourself

You don't believe how much Light you have

because you've been convinced not to

but I have always seen it clearly

not just of my own doing

some are sent to trample the flower through wiles

some are sent to pick up the flower through unconditionality

to break up the trampled soil

where tears become rain

to grow a field of flowers

until you can believe in your self

and ever after

we will believe in the flower

that is you.

+ + +

Amen.

This poem reminds me that too often we don't see our full potential. This was a great reminder that we are more than what we think we are.
