Ten Years That Count
My entry into Real Poetic's One Year Anniversary Challenge

A decade has passed since I first heard your name,
No more than a face in the screen and the mention of you from our friend,
Nothing could have prepared me for what came next!
Your voice was calling out to me, I will always retell -
Verity Lambert would have been proud,
Especially as we carefully lifted the Dalek up Glastonbury Tor!
Remembering how we made each other feel, as
September draws near,
And we look back on 10 years in our lives,
Responding to the synchronicity of our growth and our paths - before and after - and now it's
You and me with ten years behind and what comes ahead which we shall find!
