She melted the flower petals with slick voice.

Of course you’re better than me.

Animals knew no friend in her.

Of course you’re smarter than me.

Archery was her sport of choice.

Of course you’re stronger than me.

Many a regretful, choked syllables shot forth.

Of course you’re wealthier than me.

Costly, countless, chosen, cat, chatter.

Of course you’re more valued by the community than me.

Nothing was right unless it was her idea first.

Of course you deserve more attention than me.

I’d expect you to think nothing less of yourself,

the self-righteous, overly religious, rat that you are!
