The simple question posed by Jane Eyre, a tribute

I sink under your warm

Dandelion legs, Jane

Your green Elf like loveliness

Covers me like a oversized umbrella

I could taste you over and over

It’s like citrus candied honey,

And I’m drinking you in like it’s my savior

As your kiss laps onto my heated breath.

My mad raven hides in my estate

Covert, lingering with a solemn flame

To place upon my eyes and tie to my hands

You put out my fire

And give me new breath.

I’m a man who can sing you a tune

I’m a man who hears and listens to all you say

I’m

Utterly enthralled by all you do

And yes I love you,

Forever, Jane
