Tar Halo

A melancholy affair seal pressed with a smile

Aubrey Schuring

A melancholy affair seal pressed with a smile

And

A secret self loathing on either side

You look

At me

Deep and dark like

I stepped right where you want a

Land mine of

Your hurt and your loss is

Ripping me up

Sharp slick pieces of

Shame and disgust they are shiny fucking remembrances of what you truly want

And what you gave up when you won

and

Those thirty seconds of foreshadow which I mistook, they were a tar halo I have seen in only three sets of souls

Yours being the third

And the first to so turn off

Which is important to remember when scratching blame on my own tongue

When I licked loves neck I was not wrong
