Talking Religion Blues
For The Vocal Dialogue Poetry Challenge
Religion has been used to hurt so many people, think the Crusades and similar wars.
The music is "God's Song" by Randy Newman
The form of the poem is nothing I have seen before but it has rhyme and the same number of syllables on each line.
This is a conversational snippet.
Atheist: "I Need Some Proof"
A Theist: "His Words's The Truth"
Atheist: "Evolution's Real"
A Theist: "We're Not Monkeys"
Atheist: "We Evolved Though"
A Theist: "Only God Can Know"
Atheist: "God's Made By Man"
A Theist: "You Will Be Damned"
Atheist: "Let's Just Be Friends"
A Theist: "No Way, Heathen"
Atheist: "OK I'll Go"
A Theist: "Praise Our Sweet Lord"

Devil v God. Yin v Yang. Bad v evil. Every yin has a yang, believers v Theism. Hot or Cold....what is really the truth?
