social commentary
There's a rich history of poetry serving as social commentary, intended to inspire calls to action.
Mr. Nobody
How do criminals get to spy on the good guy with a private eye? How are they allowed to open a case with bullshit and lies? People terrified to even live their life because we’ve seen justice fail all of our life. They’ve kept me on the run for almost four decades, robbed me blind and that same money stole dictates, what y’all see and are falsely made to believe, they’ve even gone as far as stealing identities, doing dirt in my name in the streets and then take it to the courts and then if I speak, imma snitch, imma bitch, loose lips sink ships, what the shit show crap part of the game is this? And why the shit 80 year old’s allowed to play kid shit? Greed and corruption, deceit and dysfunction, and when all else fails deceased or abduction, a laundry list of crimes if anyone took the time to read between the lines, but why give a shit as long as your pockets lined, bunch of Disney motherfuckers able to skip the line 38 times, and I’m the misfit for staying in line, my life on the line and not a single person on my side, truly a case of the blind being betrayed by the piece of the pie, and all these words don’t mean shit till I’ve died, purchased by villains on MY fucking dime…
