I Look Up
I look up because you can see time moving as clouds pass by. You can see the moon dreaming in the night sky. The sometimes shy sun tries to hide but, still glow so bright and makes so much light. I look up because the birds soaring so high, make me feel like I can fly and do anything as long as I try. The tall trees remind me of my hair so thick and full, blowing gracefully in the soft breeze as it kisses my skin. In the dark sky with the smell of rain as the lightning lights up the sky, I know the pain will wash away. I will always look up because I see life as it changes so beautifully, it reminds me of me.
