love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Without Each Other
He’s the kind of thinker that keeps hearts fluttering like the wings of a creature that is still learning control. A smile made of sea salt and waking up to the summer sun over the beach waters with no one in sight. His lips, the taste of coffee, awakening senses, and leaving restless thoughts wandering back to the times of cigarettes smoked until nothing remained but ash. His eyes like the drinks taken to feel something when love is not an option. Strong and yet constantly leaving her with a craving for more.

All This
All of my life I thought the best and most beautiful poetry happens when the writer is depressed. I'd like to say I was right but I wasn't, in fact the best poetry is written when one is in love. I should know, its 12 a.m. and I'm sitting in my bathtub with my dirty white Converses hanging off the ledge.
