love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Desire to Be
Ive always had a fascination with beauty and how our culture interprets it. Most aspects I don't understand, but I do believe that the purest of beauty is the one that commands your attention. This poem is about my desire to be that very person in the room, demanding to be noticed without saying a word.

Deployment
He denied the words, “you saved me” but he did. He had always been my lighthouse on a dark sea. Showing me paths to take: options. Never giving me a choice to fail, just simply showing me the paths. Protecting me from the crashing waves. I’ve realized I was abandoned the light no longer shown for I needed to learn to sea alone. Now he’s the one at sea and I’m the lighthouse and I’m the one guiding him home.
