Haiku
Night Storm
light splits the heavens while ebony clouds explode dark rivers run wild *** After an all-night thunderstorm (which makes me sleep peacefully), we were awakened by a huge lightning strike this morning. I woke with this haiku in my head, so I decided to share it even though the challenge is closed. Probably for the best, since I've entered too many already. It's still pouring outside.
