Tacit Journeys

a poem inspired by a faster changing world

By Solomon WalkerPublished about a year ago 1 min read
tacit dreams by Solomon

In the silence of unwhispered dreams, I wander,

Seeking solace in the depths of my mind,

Where tacit journeys silently meander,

And a hidden world, only I can find.

Through the veils of reality, I transcend,

To a place where colours dance and spirits soar,

Where the weight of existence begins to suspend,

And the shackles of life I can finally ignore.

In this unseen world, my soul takes flight,

On wings of imagination, I gracefully glide,

Exploring landscapes bathed in ethereal light,

Where the boundaries of possibility subside.

Here, the stars whisper secrets in my ear,

And the moon weaves tales of forgotten lore,

The gentle breeze carries melodies so clear,

As I lose myself in this mystical rapport.

In this sanctuary, my thoughts intertwine,

With the essence of nature, both wild and serene,

I find solace in the silence, so divine,

As my spirit dances with the unseen.

But as the dawn breaks, reality calls,

And I must return to the world I know,

Yet the echoes of my tacit journeys enthrals,

Leaving traces of magic wherever I go.

For in these moments of mental escape,

I glimpse the beauty that lies within,

And though the unseen world may reshape,

It is in understanding, my journey begins.

So, let me wander in this delicate trance,

Embracing the whispers of my own creation,

For it is through these tacit journeys, perchance,

That I find solace and true liberation.
