Sweet Love

I am yours and you are mine

By Marissa BendickPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Raindrops and lollipops

You’re everything sweet, everything worth a damn.

Splashing And prancing

Arms looped together.

Hopping and Skipping,

Giggling forever

A little bit of Umbrella twirling

A lot of hand holding.

Your soft, gentle lips find mine

Your arm wraps around my waist.

My heart skips a beat,

My tummy does flips

I love you. I love you so deeply, so completely.

And, to you, I will always remain true

You’re so stuck with me,

I hope you know

Just how much of you is ingrained in my heart and my soul.

Sunshine breaking through storm clouds

Flowers blooming in meadows

Light breezes blowing through treetops

Dew drops on petals

You’re my sunshine in the storms,

You’re the rain in a drought.

You smile at me, your blue eyes twinkle

The world stops turning

I forget how to continue breathing.

You’re mine. All of you, that handsome face

That beautiful soul

That kind heart.

You’re mine.

I’m stuck with you.

How did I get so lucky?

I love you. Completely. My King.
