The warm glow through the window
shows a tree upon display
Matching the tender spirits glow
stirring in our hearts today
The sweet smell of winter pine
filling the air with redolence
Festively it intertwines
gathering us close to reminisce
Spiced eggnog in a mug
hot chocolate warming on the stove
Warm welcomes with a hug
listening to stories being told
Memories and future plans
shared with those that we hold dear
With those who understand
supporting us throughout the year
Presents nestled neath the tree
with tinsel glistening above
An angel placed upon the top
reminding of this seasons love
