Sign of Peace

After resolving a serious conflict between my sister and her offender, the peacemaker shared the sugar canes amongst the families of the victim and the families of the offender
who are witnessing the event to indicate that the conflict is resolved and peace is reached.

In where I came from, Papua New Guinea, food is not only for eating; food are used to build, maintain and strengthen social relationships.
