Because
I don’t cry out
does not mean I am strong;
I am a stone pillar crumbling
under
the weight of you
and your misguided heart,
by definition I am weak;
others
will not crumble
beneath your lighter lean,
they claim you are not so heavy;
you just
don’t understand
the burdens shared with me -
no remorse, the consequences
are mine;
so if you think
no tears makes me hardened,
open your selfish eyes and think
again.

This line and the breaks: I am a stone pillar crumbling under the weight of you Great job!
I had hearted but not commented , excellent words
The pillars own weight is its blessing and its curse. Any more is sometimes too much! BEAUTIFUL poem!
So full of emotion...raw and heartfelt... the opening line drew me in and is so so true "Because I don’t cry out does not mean I am strong; " Well done, Keila!
Beautiful, emotional. Well done.
