Storm Warning
Meteorology of the Senses

The scent of rain – an adequate forecast.
The autumn chill spreads goosebumps on bare arms.
Looming clouds forewarn the calm will not last,
As sirens wail, “Relief!” to drought-plagued farms.
Ozone-tinged air dances on my tongue.

Ooo, I could feel the hairs on my arms raise. Love this! I always enjoyed watching storms roll in from the 'foothills' of the Rockies when I lived in Fort Collins, CO. Such a cool piece, Dana :)
