Still in Pieces

Calling to the deceased

By Sid Aaron HirjiPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

It's easy to see that I'm not over you,

I wonder in the underworld, if you see it too.

As for mistakes I know I have made a few

Too many, yet I swear to it that my heart speaks true.

Tell me when you are sent to heaven and get your wings,

You will see to it that I'm not alone,

For I feel I can't sleep at night,

Just waiting for you to come home.

We are in this world for just a short while,

Dying incomplete is not my style,

Tell me that everything between us is okay,

So that I can carry on forever everyday.

sad poetry

I have been thinking about the afterlife a lot lately, hoping to hear from someone there. This is a call to the universe. I hope it hears.
