Sticky Notes and Scribbled Hearts

Leaving little clues, hoping you’ll notice

By KhunchaiZX99Published 9 months ago 1 min read

I leave sticky notes on your desk—

just reminders,

like “Don’t forget to smile!”

or “You’ve got this!”

Sometimes I draw a tiny heart

in the corner,

hoping you’ll see it

and wonder who it’s from.

You always smile when you find them,

and my heart does a happy cartwheel

behind my ribcage.

If love is a puzzle,

I’m leaving you clues

one sticky note at a time—

hoping you’ll piece them together

and find me

waiting at the end,

pen in hand,

ready to write our next chapter.

Aw, this is so sweet and wholesome! And that last line? Pen in hand, ready to write our next chapter—chef's kiss! Somewhere, a desk is blushing.
