Beneath the velvet sky we lay,
hands entwined, hearts unafraid,
while the Milky Way spilled its light,
a silver river across the night.
Your eyes held galaxies untold,
a warmth more radiant than gold.
Every breath we shared became
a vow the stars could not contain.
The jasmine whispered in the air,
fireflies danced as if in prayer.
The world was silent, still, and small,
yet in your touch, I felt it all.
You spoke of love without end,
not just a lover, but my friend.
And in that hush, the heavens knew:
my eternity begins with you.
So let the stars write what they may,
their stories fade, their lights decay.
But under skies that never part,
you are the keeper of my heart.
