Eager is the omnipresent moon,
Circling in its inescapable orbit,
Longing to be the star in the sky.
It is there even when it is not,
Patiently waiting for its turn in the spotlight,
Solemn satellite existing in the shadows.
Evanescent moment eternally cherished.
