translucent drops of water, fall from the sun kissed pillows of winters white
releasing a sweet yet tangy scent of evergreen needles, once trapped beneath sheets of bitter cold
the morning silence awakens to the crackling pop of thawing layers of frost and breaking ice
I tilt my head back and feel natures damp chill tickle and dance as tiny aqua globes land upon my outstretched tongue
in this moment I savor the sweet nectar of spring.

I wish it were spring. I loved this!
This is beautiful, beguiling and a harsh reminder that winter is around the bend in reality, and the experience of spring's dawning is many months away. This is a wonderful entry to the challenge, Jason!
