Spring is here

all of the deer

oh Dear

so near

I feel a cheer

coming on

🌺

we will soon see the lawn

big, big yawn

such a long winter, I jeer

as I shed a tear

it is so good to hear

certain birds return

🌺

all the little chickadee learn

the feeder is shared at every turn

as long as it is not a bear,

bears don't share

then, it takes some longer to wake

🌺

in celebration, I am baking a cake.

See the buds, the water in the lake

they will be blooming soon enough though

we really do not have long to go

I know, you know

how much beauty there will be

🌺

wait and see

all the beauty

in the spring of the year

you don't have to be a seer

it is clear

happens every year

🌺

Spring is here!
