Bars need lashing

A tightly bound knot

Posts take constant pressure

To hold the lintel aloft

Keystone forever locked

Between swelling waves

Of carefully arranged

Chiseled rock

Freedom manifests even

In the tightest confined space

Once the door to

Conscious cognition opens

Breaking the chains binding belief

The spark of sentience

Enters the mix

After which no way exists

To unspread revelation

With every wave of confusion

A new spontaneous viral notion

Of pure unbridled liberation

Reflected in roving eyes

Searching for unblocked openings

Hair fine fissures

Expand under pressure

Until the natural state

Of all being is achieved

K.B. Silver

After I finished watching Andor season 2, I looked around at the eerily similar state of the world and couldn’t help but write about the nature of freedom. Some who have never had their freedoms directly tested seem to take them for granted. They can’t understand precisely how much can be taken or how quickly it can be wiped away.

More importantly, they can’t see the power each of us has and that it grows exponentially as we join hands to destroy the chains that bind and tear down the walls that separate us. If you have ever watched a video of people lifting and moving a car, you know what a difference a few more hands make in challenging situations. We all get the chance to be a helping hand to our neighbors every day. As the days get harder and more bleak, we are directly influencing, fighting for our freedom and that of our friends and family, or we are giving up and delivering them into the hands of evil.

Sadly, freedom is fading away right in front of our eyes.
