In a world that is mindful and demure
I want to live out loud
and love boldly
in shades that would make the 90s proud.
In a world that is socially synthetic
I want to share
the iridescent fragments of my soul
so that I am candidly known,
and every facet of me seen reflected
in your eyes
In a world that is material
I want to be ethereal
and rise above the noise
and the chaos
like frost-bitten fog on the mountains
I want to open up the depths of me
not to cause chaos, like a tsunami,
but simply,
to make a splash
