Enjoy the Silence

Songs from yesterday blare from a bored inmate’s tinny radio

Isolated

Love and Lust boil beneath the flesh of a cautious tremolo

Exquisite with predictable repetition

Nothing changes, graven depths consume above as below

Corpses decay with ghastly vibration in their address of captive audiences

Eloquently speaking for a shackled world

Acrostic

I get bored and I write things. Sometimes they're good. Sometimes they're bad. Mostly they're things.

Wow - that's a vivid and impactful acrostic poem. Well done.
