Sometimes:
Sometimes I want to scream to the top of my lungs
And tell the world: Bitch I ain't the one!
I'm not trying to be one of the greats
That goes crazy, then wind up and become
A forgotten special of Unsung
Exploit my pain, Label me insane
An ode to magic
But I'd rather you label me a savage
Instead of some average run around the town girl
Lost in the sauce reciting Gucci quotes
Walking round carrying Gucci totes
Thinking she's the shit
Nah.. don't label me a Queen
Until you can respect me as such
Until you can level up and measure up
To that of a King
Nevertheless I cannot gather
Why a body count even matters?
As if STDs came in sets of threes
I mean yes sex matters, but why so much?
Can you even carry on a stimulating conversation
Before trying to stick the tip in, penetration?
I mean, what is even dating?
Wait... that apparently is called "talking"
That's silly as hell to me
As if you sit in silence with everybody else that walks in
First comes the love, then comes the marriage;
What happened to that?
Seems all wrapped in petty things
Like not apologizing and
Not texting back
But go ahead, label me insane
You could even label me a savage
I'd rather you label me a Queen though
But please... don't label me average.
