Something Scary
It'll grab you when you least suspect it...
Where the embers rise to the sky
Something is running, sniffing nearby.
Hairy arms, and toothy fangs
Trying to satisfy its hunger pangs...
Trapped in haunting nightmare plethora
Tombed inside that nasty aura.
It grabs you in it’s bony clutch
Escape? Ha! You can’t do much.
It’s icy breath makes quite a scare
You’re petrified in it’s frozen stare.
The Wendigo stalks in the cold frost
Standing face to face, your life is the cost.
This cannibal monster feasting nigh
Gasp! Oh my, its eating your thigh.
Don’t walk late, or it will nab you
And munch and gobble you through.
Something scary, something mean
It’s the Wendigo, standing lean.
