Something of Nothing

An Ode to those Empty, Nothing days

By Savannah K. WilsonPublished 2 years ago 1 min read
Is an empty page a story not yet written, or just an empty page?

What do you write about

When there's nothing to write?

Today seems so empty, wasted

Without purpose or even point

A nothing day

Should this be a source of worry?

That even after all the good change

Life can still feel this ... empty?

Or is the joy in life the ebbs, the flows?

Perhaps we need days like this one

Days of nothingness, of deep rest

To make the brighter days better

All that much more brighter with joy

Still, can you write about nothing?

Is there a point to the empty day?

Is that the point? Writing about nothing

Can create ... something.

Definitely relatable! Turning nothing days into something days is always worth the while.
