Erasing Pain

Take the time and figure out where you desire to run.

Do you have it yet?

Good.

One foot in front of the other.

No, don't look back.

They are not worth it.

That's it.

Keep going.

Now imagine all of the pain they caused you.

Really reach for the knives protruding from your back.

Do you feel them?

Cold, leather handles that refuse to budge.

I know they hurt, but you have to trust me.

Start with the first one and pull as hard as you can.

Feel it slide from between the shoulder blades as it breaks free.

Do not worry if the blade breaks off inside.

It will fall out eventually.

Leave it on the floor behind you.

Hey, I said no looking back.

Leave it where it lies.

Yes, I know the blood is cold.

It has been a while since it could flow.

Can you feel the next one?

Good, pull it out too.

I know, it's supposed to hurt.

Just keep pulling on them.

It is okay to stumble.

That's normal.

Just keep walking.

Step by step.

That's it.

Eyes front!

Don't worry about the blood trail.

If they find you, it won't matter.

You will not be the same person they knew before.

That is the whole point.

We are erasing them.

Removing their pain.

Removing their influence.

Do you feel lighter yet?

A little is better than nothing.

You're doing great!

You're almost there.

I never said climbing this hill would be easy.

One more blade.

I know it's the biggest.

The last one always is.

It's going to bleed more too.

It's okay to scream through the pain.

Let them hear you!

You're almost there!

That's it.

Breathe.

Start stitching yourself up.

You did amazing.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere.

That's why you brought me with you.

You don't remember?

Because you are the new me.
