Some Days I Just Cannot Write A Word
A Villanelle About Not Writing
There are days when I donβt write. Some days I need a rest. Some days my mind is empty. I always feel I am not good enough even though people continually tell me I am.
So I challenged myself to write a villanelle about not writing.
This is to give me a break from putting together my first book of poetry which I uploaded to Amazon and then pulled because I decided it was only adequate but will probably be on sale by the time this is published.
How twisted is my tiny mind?

My Mind Is Empty, An Unfilled Space
If I Do Not Write, I Wonβt Be Heard

I Feel As Though I Am Losing The Race
