An ode to myself

If only you knew how long I’ve been chasing freedom.

It’s been a long journey getting to this place of freedom.

I fought tooth and nail tryna make my way through this ruthless trail.

None of it came easy. Quite the grueling tale.

I set a goal for myself and was determined to accomplish it.

This is one of my greatest accomplishments.

Don’t ever tell me there’s a bite out of life I can’t chew.

I feel invincible. There’s nothing I can’t do.

I had to train my mind on how to achieve success.

Take a good look at me now. I live and breathe success.

I’ve got nothing to lose and the world to gain.

Ibuprofen spirited in a world of pain.

If a new obstacle comes my way I’ll fade it.

When it’s all said and done I’m really thankful I made it.
