Snowfall And The Holiday Season
They are both beautiful.
It's the first snowfall of the holiday season.
People will hurry to the store for a reason.
As the snow falls down freezing temps make the road slick.
Some will go to the mountains, what tree will they pick?
Kids can be heard playing and snow on a hill.
Many friendships they will make - joy is what they feel.
While the happy children watch all the snowflakes fall,
Each of them make a snowman that is small or tall.
The snow shimmers when sunlight reflects it just right.
Sparkling snow is seen in the morning or night.
The sunshine on rooftops causes water to freeze,
And snow shows its beauty when it glistens on trees.
Snow is seen in valleys, fields, vand mountains so high.
It's fun to watch snowflakes as they fall from the sky.
The pristine snow, lovely and white - picturesque scene.
Seeing it glisten on trees looks calm and serene.
