Snakes

Snakes

By Naw KanPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Snakes, oh snakes so slithering and sly

Your scales are so smooth, your eyes so bright

You glide through the grass

Silent and swift as can be

Your venom can be deadly

But you use it sparingly

You play a vital role

In the balance of nature's plan

Snakes, oh snakes, you are a wonder

Of the wild, a true friend of man

You may be misunderstood

But you deserve a chance

To show the world your beauty

And enhance the balance

So here's to the snakes

The ones that crawl and glide

We respect you, oh snakes

For all the good you do, side by side.
