Smiling Faces

Uneasy Silence

Smiles come easy when you aren't privy to what

Is said in your absence

Lips curl and hush, fading into amiable dispositions

Each unheard word, more powerful than the last

Numbing sensations clamor and cling to the bristled hairs of intuition, while

Confidence and self

Esteem battle silently for survival
