The Vastness Of Secrecy

Silence Acrostic

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read

She held onto her breath as he entered the room

Ill-fated lovers left to silently swoon

Love and its aftermath came crumbling too soon

Evidence lost, but the smell of perfume

No-one expected it would end up this way

Criminally charged for loves graphic decay

Encased in their silence, the words they could not say. Love was quietly surrendered and extinguished that day
