oh how i wish you could've looked at me the way you look at her. remember how i always used to look at you? like a child meeting their favorite princess for the first time.

i remember how bright your smile used to be when you'd see me walk out of my house. i also watched that bright smile fade into a frown i cant seem to get out of my head.

i wish you could've looked at me the way you look at her, but you can't because i am not her.
