With my emotions and Insecurities...
He said goodnight and motioned to go relax near my emotions...
Insecurity said “Hi” to everyone except for Happy.
In my heart, I knew that this slumber party
Wouldn't live a Goodnight with the Two of them in the same room...
Insecurities cogitate me down, but even though my emotions are occasionally all over the place, They Keep me up!
So I wanted this slumber party,
So that we could hopefully,
Get acquainted with each other...

Wild Card Weekend Recap: What Happens Now?
I think I figured out why I love Wild Card Weekend so much. It's because it's the first playoff anything of the calendar year. The NFL season starts in the fall, and once upon a time, the champion was crowned either on or slightly before New Year's. The evolution of the NFL schedule has resulted in the playoffs starting just into the New Year, and currently, the final week of the season falls on the first weekend of the New Year, with Wild Card Weekend coming a week after that. So yes, chronologically, the NFL's Wild Card Weekend serves as the first playoff anything of the calendar year.

I read this a few times, and it just kept bringing up new thoughts about it. Loved it!
A slumber party with our emotions, both exhausting & insomnia inducing (not to mention knots in the stomach, rapid shallow breathing & acid reflux that won't quit). Sadly, I've been at this slumber party for far too long. At some point I just want either to sleep or actually wake up. So much packed into such a tiny space, using so few words, every bit of it a sobering goldmine.
