"Skinny" Affections

Quality Time

By Ria Published 4 years ago 1 min read

I'm "skinny" In my terms of affection/ Never saying what I mean/ But if I get to hold you close/ Let my walls down and let you in/ I could show you I'm fluent/ The small touches,/ Holding you close/ Giving you my time/ There is no awkward silence.

That is my affection

As quiet as my affectionate words may be/ My touch and time speaks volumes/ In the ways my voice could never/ I never say what I mean/ Never could

My silent touches will leave a trail of whispers along your skin

You'll know then

My lips do not speak for me/ The presence of my being/ The time I offer/ The words I give/ The small touches are the fluency of my affection.

And you will know my affections are not so dry
