Closing my eyes/ Slowing my breathing/ Lulling in stillness/ Is easier with you in my arms
My mind quiets/ heart steadies/ Muscles ease
The tension falls away/ My eyelids flutter faster/ The sense of comfort falls over me
My very own security blanket/ In the shape of your arms
Sleeping/ Laying next to/ Is easier when I'm with you/ When I can feel your chest/ rise and fall with mine/ Like the days tide
There is no tension/ Once my mind stills/ Breathing slows/ Heart steadies/ I'm falling asleep with you
In peaceful bliss
