Dare To Dream

Oh the dream I had last night was wild and free

I wandered through a world that seemed so strange to me

I flew through the clouds and danced on the moon

I swam with the fish and sang a crazy tune

I met a mermaid with hair of gold

She took me on a journey through a land so old

We rode on the back of a giant turtle

And travelled through a land of ice and furple

We saw a volcano that spewed out rainbows

And a river that flowed with a golden glow

We met a family of dragons so grand

They invited us to their castle on a distant land

We dined on delicacies and danced the night away

But soon it was time for us to leave and go our separate ways

I woke up with a smile on my face

It was a dream I couldn't wait to retrace

But alas, it was just a dream of wonder and delight

I can't wait to see what crazy adventures I'll have tonight

As the mermaid and I journeyed on,

We came across a city that shone

Like a thousand diamonds in the sun

People bustled about, their days just begun

The streets were lined with shops and stalls

Selling goods from all over the world, from old to new, from big to small

There were spices and fabrics, jewelry and art

Each booth more colorful and vibrant than the next, it was a work of heart

We stopped to watch a group of acrobats

Their movements were graceful and precise, they left us in awe, that's a fact

They flipped and tumbled and danced in the air

It was a sight to behold, one beyond compare

As we walked through the city, we couldn't help but smile

It was a place of joy and wonder, a place worth a thousand miles

But our journey was far from over, there was still so much to see

We said goodbye to the city and set off once more, just the mermaid and me

We came upon a vast desert, a sea of sand and heat

The sun blazed down on us, it was almost too much to beat

But the mermaid knew a secret, a way to escape the glare

She led me to a hidden oasis, a paradise beyond compare

The water was cool and crystal clear

Plants and flowers grew in abundance, it was a sight to hold dear

We lay on the grass and watched the clouds go by

As the sun set, we knew it was time to say goodbye

We left the oasis and continued our journey through the night

We saw stars that seemed so close, we could almost touch them, they were a sight

We climbed a mountain and reached its peak

The view was breathtaking, it was something unique

We saw forests and rivers and valleys below

It was a world of beauty, one we could never outgrow

But as the dawn approached, it was time for us to part

The mermaid gave me a hug and kissed me on the cheek, it was something from the heart

I woke up with a smile on my face

It was a dream I would always remember, a dream I couldn't wait to retrace

I knew it was just a dream, a work of my imagination

But the memories and emotions it left behind were a true sensation

I couldn't wait to fall asleep once more

To see where my dreams would take me, to explore

The endless possibilities and adventures that lay ahead

Who knows what crazy things I'll see, what stories I'll be fed

So I closed my eyes and let sleep take me away

To a world of magic and wonder, where anything is possible and okay

I surrendered to the dream and let it lead the way

Who knows what adventures I'll have today?
