Silent, Collapsed
Acrostic - Moment of Silence Challenge
Sadly she sat near the
immobile body, its spirit gone and
lying there, alone
Escaping the hospital room
not ever to return, she silently
Collapses and subdues her
emotions

well done
Very relatable .
A sad moment beautiful expressed. Good luck in the challenge this is one of my favorites
This is a situation where words seem to fail, and it doesn’t feel Iike there’s anything you can say to make it better:/
Beautifully written, vivid portrayal of such moments.
So sad but well written
What a grief filled moment of silence. Excellent acrostic, Andrea
May no one have to see this end... very difficult... he will collapse. After that what? Empty rooms, empty looks, a big question, and many memories from the past. Am I still alive or am I dead? This is for an angel who was living next door and we were good friends, until the end, on the cold bed of the hospital.
Oh my. I know this feeling. Very powerful acrostic. Well done.
Powerful Acrostic! ❤️
"not ever to return" This line so emotional.
So powerful and moving
Something in that subduing is so heart rendering.
Now this is powerful. Incredibly done, Andrea! 💌
So sad, Andrea.
This was so heartbreaking 😭😭😭😭😭 Very well done Andi!
Oh gosh. You captured the sense of loss so well.
True emotions. Piercing
I felt a deep sadness in this writing. Losing a loved one is so very tough. It's like losing a part of your own body. Excellent work!
Powerful!
You captured grief there well, Andrea.
Another great acrostic, Andi. You are on a roll!
This captures the essence of a hospice nurse or of a geriatric nurse who gets close to their patients or residents and then loses one. Good work.
